Welcome to Virtual7

Virtual7 offers a unique build, set-up and maintenance service to Lotus and Caterham 7 owners, aimed at helping drivers get the most out of their cars for road and race.

All set up work at Virtual7 is carried out by Gerard Holloway. Gerard has a string of engineering qualifications and three decades of experience, race engineering for twenty of those years. He’s prepared cars for the Formula Ford series and, with notable success, for the Caterham and 750 Motor Club race series.

Based in Gloucestershire, near Chepstow, Virtual7 offers floating flat floor and unique direct to hub setup, computerised corner weighting and full engine diagnostics with oscilloscope and real-time 3 gas analysis. Click the Gallery button to see the workshop.

If you need to shave a second or two off your lap times, or just squeeze the last ounce of handling from a road car, Gerard can help. The results speak for themselves; Virtual7 prepared cars have won the Caterham Supergraduates and Academy series, and classes in the the 750 MC championship and the Birkett 6 hour Relay. In the words of Andy Baylie (winner of the Caterham Academy 2002 and Supergraduates 2003), “Gerard knows how a car should be set up which has helped me win races”.

Virtual7 also offers both car and engine building for road or race, race support, servicing, engine rebuilds from Rover K series to BDR and Lotus twin-cam, and high standard body work and paint finishing.
